We invite you to 2nd Scientific Conference her Greek Academy of Human Resource Management (EADAD), which will take place in Thessaloniki, on June 13th and 14th, 2026, at the premises of the School of Economics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

📌 Deadline for submission of title and abstract:
Saturday, February 28, 2026

To participate in the conference with a paper presentation, please submit the title of the paper and a 300-word abstract in Greek or English to Ms. Anastasia Chatziioannou (anastchatz@econ.auth.gr) with e-mail subject: "EADAD 2026". 

The submission should include the following information for all authors:

🔹Full name
🔹Email
🔹Institution/Organization
🔹Status (Faculty, Doctoral/Researcher, Doctoral Candidate, Postgraduate Student, etc.)

At least one of the authors must have completed registration for the conference by mid-May in order for the paper to be included in the final program.

The papers to be submitted can be completed papers or recently published (within the last two years) and study a topic related to the scientific field of Human Resource Management or related scientific fields, such as Organizational Behavior and the Occupational/ Organizational Psychology. 

The papers will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee of the conference. Notification of acceptance or rejection of the proposals will take place by the end of March-beginning of April 2026.

The participation cost at the conference is set at €50, except for doctoral candidates or students (postgraduate/undergraduate) for whom it is €25. The costs of registration will be used to support the conference and the smooth operation of EADAD. 

Information regarding the registration process will be posted in April-May 2026. It is noted that the conference will be possible to attend without a paper presentation, upon payment of the corresponding participation fee.

We expect that this conference will contribute to enhancing the visibility of EADAD, as well as to the networking and cooperation of the scientific community.

Registration process

Before you proceed with your registration for the 2nd EADAD conference (Thessaloniki 13-14 June 2026) make sure you have already paid your participation fee and you have kept a copy of your statement, which you must then submit when completing the form.

The cost of participation in the conference is set at 50€, except for doctoral candidates or students (undergraduate/postgraduate programs) for whom it is 25€. 

Also, if you are a student (undergraduate or postgraduate) or a doctoral candidate, you will need to upload proof of your student status in the next section (e.g. a copy of your student ID) in order to be eligible for the registration discount.

It is necessary to include your full name and surname in the justification to the beneficiary, as well as the indication "Thessaloniki 2026". Furthermore, please ensure that any bank charges are borne by you, as the depositor, and not by EADAD. It is noted that there are no bank charges for transfers from an Alpha Bank account.

John Antonakis

Presentation title:
Studying charisma scientifically

John Antonakis is Professor of Organizational Behavior in the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. John’s research is currently focused on charisma, leadership as well as on research methods. He has published articles in many prestigious journals including in Science, Nature Human Behavior, Psychological Science, Psychological Methods, Academy of Management Journal, Management Science, Journal of Management, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Operations Management, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, and Harvard Business Review, among many others. John is former Editor in Chief of The Leadership Quarterly. He is an elected fellow of the Academy of Management, the Association for Psychological Science, and The Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. He has been awarded many prizes and awards including the Eminent Leadership Scholar award from the NLS of the Academy of Management. His research is regularly quoted in the press and various media outlets including the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, The Guardian, NEWSWEEK, TIME, BBC News, The Economist, Forbes, The New Yorker, Fast Company, and many news sources, including TV and Radio. Thessaloniki International Airport Macedonia is located approximately 20 km from the city center and serves domestic & international flights all year round. The flight from Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos lasts about 55 minutes.

🔸 A clear structure is recommended (Introduction – Theoretical background – Method – Results – Conclusions)
🔸 During the poster presentation, at least one of the authors should be present in the space to discuss the work with the attendees and answer any possible questions.
🔸 More information about the dimensions and placement of the poster will be provided soon.
🔸Presentations should be in a printed scientific poster with vertical orientation (indicative size A0 (portrait), approximately 84 (width) *119 (height) cm or similar). Please note that the size of the panel for hanging the poster is approximately 110*150 cm.
