Ioannis Nikolaou

Ioannis Nikolaou is Professor of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management in the Department of Management Science and Technology, Athens University of Economics and Business. He served as a Director of the Graduate Program in Human Resource Management (2015-2022) and as Editor-In-Chief of the scientific journal International Journal of Selection and Assessment (2018-2024). He is the author of books and scientific articles in HRM, and his research and professional interests focus on attracting, selecting, and assessing human resources, with an emphasis on the role of technology and the internet. He is the co-founder of the European Network of Selection Researchers and the voluntary organization mentoring Job Pairs.

Victoria Bellou
Vice President of the BoD | University of Thessaly
Victoria Bellou is a Professor of Management at the Department of Economics of the University of Thessaly, with extensive teaching and research experience in the fields of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management. Her research focuses on human behavior in organizations, with particular emphasis on connecting employee experience with customer experience, and has been published in high-profile international scientific journals. In recent years, she has been involved in the study of different generations (with an emphasis on the Alpha generation), career choice, innovative behavior, and the adoption of new technologies. At the same time, she has significant professional experience in the field of Human Resource Management and consulting, while she has participated as a scientific director and a principal investigator in national and European research programs (such as Horizon Europe, ERASMUS+). She is also a co-author and editor of scientific books in the fields of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management.
Panagiotis Gkorezis
Secretary General of the BoD | Aristotle University of Thessaloniki
Panagiotis Gorezis is an Associate Professor at the School of Economics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He is a graduate of the same department and holds a master's degree in Human Resource Management from Lancaster University. He has completed his doctoral and postdoctoral research in Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His research interests focus on overqualification, leadership, gamification, humor at work, and modern human resource management practices. His articles have been published in recognized academic journals, and he is also the creator of the podcast HResearch, which focuses on issues of human resource management and organizational behavior.
Konstantinos Tasoulis
Treasurer of the BoD | American College of Greece
Konstantinos Tasoulis is a Professor of Human Resource Management and the co-founder of Future of Work Research Lab at the American College of Greece. His research focuses on strategic human resource management, talent management, and organizational culture change. His studies have been published in leading international scientific journals, such as the Human Resource Management Journal, Human Resource Management, and Human Relations. He has been a lecturer at the University of Bath, New York University, as well as at Deree and ALBA. He has 17 years of consulting experience, having collaborated with more than 300 organizations in Greece, Cyprus and the United Kingdom.
Maria Vakola
Board Member | Athens University of Economics
Maria Vakola is an Organizational Psychologist and Professor of Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior at the Athens University of Economics and Business, where she directs the MSc in Human Resource Management. She has published in leading international journals, edited three books, and is Associate Editor of the Journal of Applied Behavioral Science. Her research work ranks her among the top 2% researchers worldwide according to the Stanford University list. With 25 years of experience as a consultant and trainer, she has trained over 4,500 executives and has been honored 8 times for excellence in teaching. She is the co-founder of the non-profit initiative job-pairs.gr and the Change Researchers Network.
George Theriou
Board Member | Democritus University of Thrace
George Theriou is an Associate Professor in Human Resource and Knowledge Management at the Department of Management Science and Technology of Democritus University of Thrace and Director of the Business and Organization Innovation, Creativity and Competitiveness (BICC) research laboratory. His research focuses on high-performance human resource systems, talent retention, workplace incivility, and the impact of artificial intelligence on work. His research has been published in international scientific journals and has garnered a significant number of citations. He also has 15 years of professional experience in consulting and training employees in small and medium-sized enterprises, while he has coordinated educational programs and actions for the development of start-ups.
Athanasios Koustelios
Board Member | University of Thessaly
Athanasios Koustelios is a Professor with the subject of Human Resource Management at the Department of Business Administration of the University of Thessaly. He served as Deputy Rector at the University of Thessaly in the period 2013-2014, President of the T.E.F.A.A. of the University of Thessaly in the period 2004-2006 and President of the Hellenic Society of Sports Management in the period 2002-2004, while he was Director of the Laboratory of Sports & Recreation Management Organization of the T.E.F.A.A. – University of Thessaly from 2005-2019. He has published articles and book chapters on Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior. His research interests concern issues of organizational behavior, human resource management, and sports management.
