The Greek Academy of Human Resource Management (EADAD) was founded in 2024 to offer substantial and scientifically documented benefits to academics, researchers, professionals, and students of Human Resource Management and related fields. EADAD is open not only to academics and researchers in the field of Human Resource Management (HRM), but also to HRM professionals in order to bring scientific research closer to practice and vice versa.

The Greek Academy of Human Resource Management (EADAD) was founded in 2024 to offer substantial and scientifically documented benefits to academics, researchers, professionals, and students of Human Resource Management and related fields. EADAD is open not only to academics and researchers in the field of Human Resource Management (HRM), but also to HRM professionals in order to bring scientific research closer to practice and vice versa.
The Greek Academy of Human Resource Management (EADAD) constitutes an open scientific community for Human Resource Management (HRM) and related scientific fields, such as Organizational Behavior and Work and Organizational Psychology. Its purpose is to enhance the development of the sector in Greece, but also internationally, by connecting systematic knowledge with the real needs of organizations. EADAD operates as a space for dialogue, exchange and co-formation of knowledge, where its members actively contribute to the formation of scientific approaches and practices in the field of HRM.
The EADAD promotes the collection, organization, and sharing of knowledge resulting from both scientific research and the experience of implementing HRM in Greek and international reality. Through the contribution of its members, it supports the production and utilization of evidence-based approaches, so that decisions concerning people in organizations are based on research, scientific data, and documentation.
In this context, EADAD develops actions that promote knowledge, theoretical and practical, through the active participation of its members, such as:
🔹 scientific events, centered around the Scientific Conference held every two years,
🔹 actions to exchange opinions and experiences with scientists and scientific organizations,
🔹 training and know-how transfer programs.
The ultimate goal of all EADAD actions is to substantially support the adoption and implementation of HRM in public and private organizations, with a positive impact both for employees, and for the broader society and economy in Greece.
Who is EADAD addressed to? η ΕΑΔΑΔ;
The members of the EADAD constitute a scientific and professional community that is not limited to monitoring actions but actively participates in the dialogue and shapes the field of HRM.
More specifically, the EADAD addressed to academics, researchers, professionals, but also students of all levels (doctoral candidates, postgraduates and undergraduates) who:
are looking for a meaningful scientific dialogue
wish to be systematically informed about domestic and international developments in the field of HRM
are interested in actively contributing to the development and evolution of HRM
Purpose
According to its statute, purpose of the EADAD is:
🔹 The promotion, application, and dissemination of the science of Human Resource Management (or Administration) and related scientific fields, such as, but not limited to, Organizational Behavior and Work/Organizational Psychology in Greece, to contribute to increasing the value offered by organizations to society and to improving the position of employees and organizations
🔹 The expression of the academic, professional, and business community of the science of Human Resource Management and related scientific fields in Greece
🔹 The contribution through its work and scope of action to the development of the country and the competitiveness of the Greek economy
Goals
According to its statute, goals of the EADAD is:
🔸 Contribution to the development of the field of Human Resource Management and related scientific fields 🔸 The concentration, organization, and development of knowledge resulting from the experience of implementing Human Resource Management in Greece 🔸 The promotion of scientific research in the field of Human Resource Management and related scientific fields 🔸 The holding of a Panhellenic Scientific Conference every two years. The association assigns the organization of the Conference to one of its members in accordance with the terms of assignment and organization determined by internal regulations 🔸 Creating relationships and exchanging information, opinions, and experiences with scientists, professional associations, and institutions abroad 🔸 Training, transfer of know-how, and certification of know-how and skills to individuals, businesses, and organizations, through the conduct of educational programs and seminars 🔸 Supporting with scientific means the adoption and implementation of Human Resource Management in organizations (private and public)
Scientific community
Members join a prestigious scientific community that connects research with practical application, facilitating fruitful dialogue and collaboration between universities, organizations, and market professionals. Through this dynamic network, opportunities for the exchange of knowledge, good practices, and innovative approaches are enhanced.
Access to actions
Members gain privileged access to scientific conferences, workshops, and special events of the Greek Academy of Human Resource Management, as well as to selected scientific content (presentations, studies, etc.). In this way, they are systematically informed about news in the field of Human Resources Management at a national and international level.
Development & networking
Members have the opportunity to actively participate in the formation of scientific teams, working groups, and initiatives of the Academy, contributing to the promotion of quality, ethics, and evidence-based practice. This participation strengthens their scientific and professional identity, offering visibility and opportunities for further development.

June 2024
Organization of the 1nd Conference of EADAD at the University of Thessaly in Volos, with the support of the Department of Economics, University of Thessaly & election of a temporary EADAD Board of Directors
December 2025
Election of the new Board of Directors and Audit Committee EADAD with a 3-year term
June 2026
Organization of the 2nd Conference of EADAD at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with the support of the Department of Economics, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki
To achieve its purpose and objectives, EADAD uses every legal mean and method
Indicatively, the following means and methods are mentioned:
🔹 Educational and informative meetings for its members 🔹 Organization of workshops, conferences, lectures, special events, seminars and events 🔹 Conducting research and studies on related topics 🔹 Publication of information leaflets, publications, and presentations by the media 🔹 Development of educational and training activities and participation in educational programs and educational organizations (organization of seminars, participation in training programs, participation in educational organizations, etc.) 🔹 Development of modern educational methods 🔹 Development of methods for certifying relevant knowledge and skills 🔹 Publication of educational and training books and supplementary material 🔹 Publication of a scientific journal in the field of Human Resource Management 🔹 Participation in European-Community programs related to the objectives of the Association 🔹 Collaboration with related domestic and foreign organizations, as well as with individuals or legal entities of public and private law in Greece and abroad 🔹 Raising money from subscriptions, contributions, grants, donations, legacies, as well as from various events of the Association
EADAD may, following a decision of the Board of Directors, be a member of other associations or unions, with the same or similar purpose, based in our country or abroad. The association may, following a decision of the Board of Directors, participate in the establishment, administration, and operation of Legal entities with related scientific, training, and educational purposes.
